ANALYST I - REVENUE MANAGEMENT

Position Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Analyst - Revenue Management is to maximize the total hotel revenue by forecasting the demand of future business, identifying the proper price points for the hotel suite inventory and determining the most profitable market mix for the hotel. This position will also be responsible for creating and maintaining reports for Senior Management, creating annual budgets, maintaining monthly forecasts, and various other ad hoc projects.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort's policies, practices, and procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Creates hotel budgets and forecasts for multiple business segments.
- Reviews and approves group requests that are within 120 days of arrival.
- Maintains and distributes the Daily Flash Report and monthly Revenue Report.
- Analyzes trends to determine customer preferences and identifying areas of opportunity for generating incremental revenue.
- Analyzes the future demand for the hotel and pricing the suites accordingly.
- Assess, evaluate and review data for organizing projects and/or providing direction on activities, tasks or processes in accordance with company guidelines.
- Arrange timeline to complete tasks and department assignments or projects, and meet the deadlines related to those assignments.

- Evaluate information to render an opinion or take action based on that information that will impact the department or function.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 21 years of age.
- Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Statistics, Finance, Hospitality Management or related field
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Nevada Gaming Control Board registration and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.
- 2 years’ experience in Revenue Management.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint are required. Knowledge of LMS, Showcase, and ACSC are preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

- Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
