ANALYST - LABOR P&A, INCENTIVE, AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

Position Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Analyst – Labor P&A, Incentive, and Continuous Improvement is to provide insightful analyses and generate assumptions based on operational opportunities, guest experience, volume trends, and financial goals. The position is responsible for simultaneous analytical projects which provide concise, accurate, actionable, and timely conclusions with the goal of better efficiency and profitability.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Gathers and analyzes data, develops, and communicates key conclusions on operational, guest experience, and financial results.
- Prepares, analyzes, and communicates labor and productivity performance for all gaming and non-gaming areas for management including senior and executive leadership.
- Provides insights and recommendations based on information gathered, studied, and analyzed.
- Assists with time & motion studies and analyze the data collected to improve the business.
- Oversees labor analytical projects for approximately 8,800+ Team Members for 100+ departments and provides actionable and strategic recommendations for management including senior leadership.
- Ability to challenge the status quo of operational processes and/or staffing levels and structures.
- Works independently and conducts ad-hoc analysis including, but not exclusive to, staffing productivity performance reviews, operational analyses, and/or guest service satisfaction results.
- Functions as a business partner during annual labor budgets and forecasting processes. Create and establish FTE budgets for designated departments based on productivity targets, historical trends, and/or operational adjustments.
- Responsible for administering incentive payments in accordance with department policies in a timely and accurate manner, overseeing all day-to-day decisions regarding assigned incentives.
- Perform analyses to assess and monitor performance of the team member incentive programs.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 21 years of age.
- Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Finance, Hospitality, or equivalent Casino/Hospitality analysis experience.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Nevada Gaming Control Board registration and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.
- 2 years of analysis experience preferably in Casino/Hospitality industry
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Critical thinking skills with a curiosity for improving current processes.
- Ability to build strong working relationships across departments.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
