COORDINATOR - SALES

Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Quality Assurance Coordinator is to ensure the accuracy and compliance of space management information within all contracts, documents, systems and tools provided by the Sales organization, and to process and coordinate function space requests throughout the Sales workflow.

All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Enter, process and fulfill space and relevant data in appropriate systems as approved in the sales review process
  • Update system statuses in accordance with the SOP on sales and meeting space workflow
  • Accurately input actualized pick-up information into systems
  • Regularly lead, document and manage the data audits to ensure data hygiene in systems
  • Identify and communicate any data discrepancies with appropriate personnel in a timely fashion
  • Interface with sales personnel and leadership in a service-oriented approach to drive compliance, data integrity and accuracy
  • Participate in system testing, audits and the development of process requirements as needed
  • Execute, record and document quality assurance plans and validation incl. compliance with QA checklists and standards
  • Work with sales operations TMs to establish procedures, quality standards and systems for the QA function, document as needed

Additional Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Cross-train with operations and other staff as needed and directed by the DOO
  • Validate, cross-check and ensure accuracy of scope-of-work data in contracts, CRM, EBMS, Aenigma and any other applicable system or tool as required, adhering to sales policies and data standards
  • Ensure compliance of function space data end-to-end (including within the evaluation, RISE, Tentative, Definite/Contractual and fulfillment stages) against Sales policies, SOPs, and best practices
  • Maintain QA records and provide documentation and reporting on QA results, discrepancies and audits as needed and requested
  • Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 21 years of age.
  • Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Technical field or Business Administration preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any other certification or license, as required by law or policy. 
  • Must be highly detail oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Strong computer, data entry, technical skills including MS Office, reporting tools, and familiarity with data management tools
  • Customer-driven approach
  • Must be able to work autonomously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

  • Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
