ENGINEER I - SYSTEMS

Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Engineer I - Systems is to create and deploy solutions for the following KPIs; Security Patch Compliance, Security Client Health, Device Client Health, Application Deployments, Vulnerability Remediation to ensure high levels of availability and security of the supported business applications and devices. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· Brainstorm creative visions, motivate others and manage the delivery of that vision.

· Assist in the development and delivery of solutions by strategic planning, execution, and data analysis.

· Validate success of deployment solutions and communicate updates to stakeholders.

· Train, mentor, and collaborate with other resource to develop technology roadmaps.

· Participate in process improvement activities to optimize the speed and quality delivery of services.

· Perform scheduled maintenance late night and early mornings.

· Deploy applications and security patches with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager.

· Create detailed how-to documentation in Microsoft OneNote.

· Build process flowcharts in Visio.

· Troubleshoot client health and installation issues.

· Create deployments scopes and SCCM WQL & SQL queries.

· Manage tickets in Service Now and provide detailed notes and screenshots.

· Speak and present requests in front of the Change Management Board for approval of deployments.

· Create and Deliver reports pertaining to endpoint security and compliance.

· Safety is an essential function of this job.

Minimum Qualifications

· 21 years of age.

· Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.

· High School diploma or equivalent.

· Associate degree in MIS or similar technical program or acceptable industry and work experience preferred.

· Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Control Board license and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.

· Must exhibit logical, analytical, reasonable, consistent behavior that results in sound decisions.

· Advanced working knowledge with SCCM, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager.

· Actively maintaining enterprise workstations and server health.

· Deploying security patches to large scale environments.

· Creating and modifying PowerShell and Batch scripts.

· Experience working in a highly regulated environment (MICS, PCI, SOX).

· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.

· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.

· Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays
