EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR - REVENUE MANAGEMENT

Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Executive Director - Revenue Management is to be responsible for developing and executing revenue strategies that maximize resort profitability. This role will oversee pricing, inventory control, forecasting, and strategic partnerships to optimize profit per room key. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Las Vegas Strip market dynamics, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven track record of driving results in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement dynamic pricing strategies for hotel rooms and suites to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Oversee inventory management and distribution strategies, ensuring an optimal balance between transient, group, and casino business.
  • Utilize advanced forecasting models and data analytics to anticipate demand, adjust pricing, and optimize room allocations.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and industry benchmarks to inform revenue decisions.
  • Manage Casino comp availability based on patron profitability.
  • Oversee dynamic casino cash rates, aligning pricing strategies with gaming value and overall resort profitability.
  • Work closely with Group Sales to establish pricing strategies based on total program profitability, factoring in guest spend across all revenue channels (hotel, gaming, F&B, entertainment, etc.).
  • Optimize group displacement analysis to ensure the best mix of transient, casino, and group business at any given time.
  • Lead weekly revenue strategy meetings, presenting insights, competitive analysis, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Develop and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure revenue performance, pricing efficiency, and profitability.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the use of revenue management systems (RMS), customer segmentation tools, and business intelligence platforms to enhance decision-making.
  • Manage a team of revenue managers and analysts, fostering a high-performance culture focused on innovation, efficiency, and results.
  • Mentor and develop staff to ensure best-in-class revenue management practices.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to enhance automation and optimize revenue management systems.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 21 years of age.
  • Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Hospitality Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Nevada Gaming Control Board registration, Alcohol Awareness Card (TAM) and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.
  • 7+ years of revenue management experience in a large-scale casino resort or luxury hospitality environment.
  • Expertise in casino resort revenue management, including hotel, gaming, and group sales.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of casino comping, dynamic casino cash rate strategies, and total revenue optimization.
  • Experience with revenue management systems (e.g., IDeaS, Duetto, Rainmaker), CRM tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Deep understanding of market segmentation, demand forecasting, and pricing optimization.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth, improve profitability, and manage complex business strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience in IDeaS, LMS, SQL, and Tableau preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a 24/7 business cycle.
