SPECIALIST - BRAND MARKETING

Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Specialist - Brand Marketing is to support the Integrated Marketing team to translate property and partner business goals into an effective, creative, and well-rounded marketing strategy executing upon the agreed deliverables. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with developing comprehensive strategic marketing plans to ensure the business and marketing goals of internal and external partners are supported by The Venetian Resort.
  • Assist with execution of marketing plan and all associated creative content.
  • Provide support for various brand marketing activities and projects as needed.
  • Track and organize marketing metrics.
  • Perform market research to identify new opportunities.
  • Coordinate agencies and creative partners as needed for campaign and project management.
  • Support in all account management efforts across partners and cross-functional marketing team members (social media, on property experience, etc.) to develop strategies and ensure project goals, timelines and budgets are met.
  • Generate innovative ideas to promote our brand, services, and our products.
  • Maintain strong brand consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Support department leadership on special projects, ad hoc reports, and process documentation.
  • Maintain highly confidential hotel, policy, and team member information.
  • Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to established company guidelines.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Input creative and other jobs into internal tracking system. Coordinate feedback and revisions to ensure timelines are adhered to.
  • Develop a functional understanding of technical systems related to property signage and social media to assist as needed.
  • Process related administrative details to keep department operational and effective while achieving results of projects assigned.
  • Safety is an essential function of this job.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 21 years of age.
  • Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years of administrative and/or marketing experience.
  • Previous experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel/resort preferred.
  • Must have a strong focus on attention to detail.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to:

  • Lift or carry 10 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks, as assigned.
  • Physically access all areas of the property and drive areas with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts.
  • Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with guests, management, other team members, and outside contacts.
  • Ability for prolonged periods of time to walk, stand, stretch, bend, and kneel.
  • Work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
  • Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
