SR MANAGER - SLOTS

Position Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Senior Manager - Slots is to lead and manage slot daily operations.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Slot Managers through mentoring to ensure that they meet The Venetian Resort’s standards.
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all department policies and procedures.
- Be completely knowledgeable concerning Slot Marketing system such as ACSC or equivalent.
- Complete all paperwork in accordance with Nevada Gaming Regulations and approved The Venetian Resort’s standards.
- Support Company and Department decisions.
- Work in conjunction with the Director Slot Operations to recommend and lead goals.
- Provide reports of continuous improvement efforts.
- Participate in the research, development, evaluation and implementation of new product, services, technology and processes.
- Strong organizational skills and effective prioritization.

- Ability to track and reconcile project costs to project forecast.
- Ability to maintain a balanced departmental budget.
- Ability to lead and motivate others.
- Maintain a clear and open communication with guest, managers and team members.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 21 years of age.
- Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Nevada Gaming Control Board registration, Alcohol Awareness Card and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.
- 5 years management experience in a high volume Slot Department in a management capacity.
- Must possess excellent personal computer skills including word processing (MS Word) and spreadsheets (MS Excel) with a working knowledge of all Microsoft based office products.
- Extensive training skills in all aspects of slot operation possess organizational skills and the ability to coordinate the completion of multiple projects and assignments simultaneously.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

- Lift or carry 30 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks, as assigned.
