SUPERVISOR - TABLEGAMES (ON-CALL)

Position Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Supervisor – Table Games is to supervise the operation of a group of assigned tables on the gaming floor. The Supervisor is responsible to monitor Dealer performance as well as ensure that Guest Service standards are met at all times. Supervisors are responsible to rate the play of our Guests and to ensure that all gaming procedures are being followed.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Observe game, always looking for irregularities or deviations from procedure.
- Advise Area Manager / Casino Leadership of problem areas or irregularities.
- Supervise Team Members ensuring that they are enforcing and adhering to company and regulatory policies and being alert to their job duties. Alert the Area Manager of any irregularities.
- Ensure Dealers provide flawless Guest Service to our Guests, and that Dealers engage our Guests and make them feel welcome.
- Ensure that Team Members adhere to gaming regulations and any violations are reported to the Area Manager / Casino Leadership immediately.
- Establish and maintain a courteous rapport with all casino guests and fellow Team Members, providing the best possible service.
- Communicate and handle customer and team member concerns quickly and courteously.
- Inform Team Members of procedural updates/policy changes and monitor for compliance.
- Rate customers based on time of play, average bet, amount of win/loss, amount of credit or cash buy-in, walk amount, and basic strategy.
- Count game float inventories at the beginning and close of the shift, (and periodically throughout the shift) advising the Area Manager of approximate results for the shift and any suspected irregularities.

- Issue credit based on information obtained from the casino computer system in accordance with company policy and established limits.
- Highlight the benefits of the Venetian Rewards program to players and encourage players to enroll.
- Create new Venetian Rewards player accounts.
- Ensure that Guest Service standards are met at all times.
- Rate the play of our Guests.
- Monitor Title 31 requirements for CTR/AML compliance.
- Recognize and respond to minors in the casino, suspicious transactions, signs of problem gambling, and monitor intoxicated guests.
- Safety is an essential function of this job.
- Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
- This position directly supervises two or more Team Members with the authority to effectively recommend hiring, promotion, and termination decisions. This position is classified as exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and Nevada state law. It is paid on a salary basis and is not eligible for overtime.

Minimum Qualifications:

- 21 years of age.
- Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Control Board Registration, Alcohol Awareness Card and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
- 3 years minimum supervisory or dual-rate supervisory experience at a major high-end casino required.
- Proficient knowledge of at least three (3) main games, including Baccarat, Blackjack, Craps or Roulette preferred.
- 3 years minimum of experience dealing multiple games at another major high-end casino required.
- Must possess strong mathematical skills.
- Must be able to distinguish winning/losing combinations and settle wagers accordingly, knowledge and ability to supervise multiple games, perform basic math skills, and providing constant interaction with guests while creating an environment that is an exceptionally enjoyable experience.
- Knowledgeable of ACSC player tracking system, Table Management software, and any other systems in use on the gaming floor.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
